A Very Busy Day In Spain (And I Mean Busy)

Today was a very busy day for us, let me tell you about it. We started off the day with breakfast at 8:30am and then went into town once we were done. When we made it to town we walked over to a really big mountain to climb it. The climb was rough and tiring but I took pictures of the town at the beginning, middle, and end of the walk.

At the top, there was an ancient castle that we explored. While walking back down the mountain we befriend a boy named Lorenzo and his dad, William. After we got down we went and got gelato and then went to the beach with them and played for about 4 hours straight. After a long time in the sand, Mom, Dad, and Piper went to go to other stuff while Kyla, me, Lorenzo, and William went to do our own things. We started off by getting cappuccinos and croissants plus a sponge cake. Once we were finished with our food, we walked around town to find a sandwich place Lorenzo recommended. We got 1 big sandwich with the ham and cheese Lorenzo suggested. After we shared the sandwich, we walked around town for a while before heading to the beach and having a weird conversation about hand signs. Because we had to pack up still, Mom and Dad picked Kyla and me up to go back to the hotel. Once we were all packed up and ready to go tomorrow we headed back into town to go to a pizza place our new friends really recommended. We ordered our food and tried to teach each other different card games, but they were both too confusing. After a bit of sitting, we decided on a card game that was simple, very simple. When our food came we stopped our game to eat our pizza and talk. And finally, we left to go get more gelato for dessert. We all got cannoli, which is a gelato burrito-ish thing, and ate them while walking in the general directions of our car/hotel. Once we got to a place close to both our car and their hotel we said goodbye, gave each other our WhatsApp numbers, and went our separate ways. The day was exhausting but fun, and I'm glad we did it.

The Most Interesting Day In Italy

Sorry I haven't been posting for a while but now we are in Italy and I'm going to tell you about the most interesting day we had. The day started off slow and we kids chilled in the hotel until about 2:00pm. When we were all ready to go, we got into the car and drove about 3 min to town. When we got to town we walked about 11 min to a piazza for lunch. I got a cheese pizza, Piper got a hamburger, Kyla got pasta carbonara, Dad also got a hamburger, and Mom got a salmon salad. After we finished lunch we took a 2-hour tour of a duomo (cathedral). We started the tour by looking around the main room. We had also bought the most expensive tickets so we could look into the towers. After looking around the towers for a while we looked into the museum. here's a video . After we finished looking around the museum we walked to the beach where we ate gelato and played in the sand until dinner.

The Replica Of The Victoria

Today in Spain, we went to a replica of the Victoria (the first ship to ever circumnavigate the globe). We started the day off with a slow morning before we decided to walk around town for a bit. After about 12 min of walking, we reached a replica of the Victoria and spent 1-2 hours exploring it and learning about it. Apparently, when the ship left it had 47 members and when it came back it had only 18. All of the crew slept on the small deck while the captain had his own cabin. They mainly ate hardtack and salted meat. And apparently, their doctors were barely trained. Now that's enough of a history lesson today. Next, we had a talk about what to do after that, and we decided to have lunch. We went to a burger place that had really thick patties but tasted good. Once we were finished, Piper and I walked back while everyone else did more exploring.

Our Afternoon In Alcazar

[Mom's note: This is Alcazar in Seville, Spain. I want to tell you why it's special but Wes won't let me.  Read my blog in a few weeks. Wes is better about being up to date!]

Today we went to Alcazar for the afternoon. We started off by standing in a long line to get in. Once we got in, we split up into 2 teams: Kyla and Mom, plus Dad, Piper, And me. We started off by looking at a garden and starting an audio tour, well, everyone but Piper and I did. When we were all ready we walked into the main courtyard to decide what buildings to look in first. We started off with one which had 2 rooms that had some paintings and statues in them. After that, we looked at ancient plates, ya, PLATES. When we were done looking at more empty rooms, we looked at a lot of gardens/courtyards before finding a cafe to have a bite to eat. While we were eating we played 1 hand of cribbage (a card game) and I got this hand.

If you don't know that's a 21-point hand which is AMAZING. After we finished eating I used google maps to find my way back to the hotel while Mom and Piper went shopping and Kyla and Dad wandered around town.

The Kids Day Alone

Don't ask why I put milk as the picture, but like I said I'm REALLY bad at taking good pictures. My sisters an I started off the day by sleeping until about 10:00am, and then going to a supermarket to get milk, granola bars, and other stuff. When we got back we had breakfast and talked about what to do today. Once we finished with breakfast, we did homework. Kyla and I both did a math lesson, and Piper did a blog post. After a bit, we went to a nearby bakery for a bite to eat. When we got back we had lunch and I did some pixel art. After I was bored of pixel art, I did some Minecraft and PUBG mobile then listened to an audiobook. And finally, after hanging out at the hotel for like 4 more hours, Mom and Dad got back and we ate dinner and then went to bed.

What We Did For Our Last Day In Barcelona

Today was our last day in Barcelona and here is what we did. To start off the day we had a pancake breakfast and checked out of the hotel. The first thing we did was do a tour of the Sagrada Familia for about 1 1/2 hours. Then we went to a bakery for a snack before going to the Tibidabo amusement park for 1-2 hours. But it turns out that going there on a Monday was a terrible idea. Only 4 rides were open and one of them was out of orderπŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘. The rides that were open (and in order) included...

1. A carrousel

2. A Ferris wheel

3. A tall hammer-like ride.

After riding all 3 we went down the mountain using the funicular then waited at our hotel until 6:00pm for our taxi driver to pick us up and bring us the the airport. After like 3 1/2 hours waiting we got on a 2 hour airplane ride and got to Seville at 12:30am. Finally after a 10 min drive we got to our hotel (which has amazing Wi-Fi like, wow) And we all went to bed.

(By the way the pictures are what we saw one the tall hammer-like ride in the amusement park).

What We Are Going To Do For Our Last 2 Days In Our Hotel In Spain

Today is our last full day in our Barcelona hotel. That's kinda sad because this is the first place in a month that had good Wi-Fi for blogging and, well, games. But maybe our next place has good Wi-Fi to🀞🀞🀞. We started off the day slowly. I woke up light-headed and extremely hungry. For breakfast, I had 2 pieces of toast and a big bagel. Once we finished I went back to bed to rest, while the others went to an art museum. While they were gone I tried to sleep, took a not-so-warm shower, and threw up a lot. After I barfed, I texted Mom that I was sick, but after I threw up I felt a lot better. After another nap, I walked around town and got myself cookies. After I got back I did some math (and this blog post) while eating my Oreos. And if you're wondering, we still have one more place left in Spain, so we're not done.

Our First Day In Spain

I am no longer going to do the "arriving in a place" title, because that got boring too fastπŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘. Today was our first full day in Spain, we started off the day with a tour for about 3 hours, I think. We started the tour by walking to the wax museum (A museum of wax sculptures of famous people) to find our guide, we never actually went in. Once we did, we started off by walking around talking about the history off some buildings for like 1-2 hours. When we were like halfway through our tour we stopped to get churros dipped in chocolate for a treat, then we did a bit more walking and talking about building. Sometime along the way someone forced balloon swords into our hands and made us pay for them, we didn't have quite enough so we got one sword for free. Kyla gave her to a kid, mine popped, because I was twisting it, and piper kept hers because she felt like it. After a bit more walking we made it to a park with a pretty fountain where our tour ended. Once the tour ended, Piper and I walked a mile back to the apartment, while mom, dad, and Kyla kept walking around while me and piper did some homework and chilled.
By the way if you want to know the Wi-Fi password for some reason here it is

Piper's And My Day Alone 2.0

I'm sorry this one has no pictures but I'm seriously bad at taking them. This was Piper's and my 2nd day alone. After sleeping in a bit, we started off the day by vibing to some music before going to a crepe place for breakfast. Once we finished our crepes, we walked to a store on our way back to the Airbnb. At the store, we got chocolate and tried to get peanut butter but they had none. When we got back Piper made cookies and I listened to an audiobook. After the cookies were done, I did a math lesson and a blog post (not this one). Since Piper needed a parent to help her with math, she just did a blog post. Once we were both done, we ate some cookies and vibed to more music. Finally, we both did a bit of art on our phones (I did pixel art and she did a color by number) while waiting for Mom, Dad, and Kyla to get back.

The Steak House

Today we went to a Brazilian steak house for dinner. All of us besides Mom got the normal meats but Mom got the vegetarian. In case you didn't know at a Brazilian steak house they serve you a lot of different types of meat but you don't know what you are getting. Kyla, Piper, and my favorite was the beef with cheese. But since the meats came so fast we couldn't play cards 😭😭😭. We all got guarana (GWA-DA-NA) to drink and had a long conversation about caffeine. And after a not-so-long dinner, we walked back to the Airbnb.

Arriving In France

Today we arrived in France. Well, I mean after a 4-hour plane ride. Once we arrived, we quickly realized that it was extremely windy. I had to hold on to my hat all the way to our Uber. After a 30 min drive, we got close to our Airbnb and walked the rest of the way (yes I was holding on to my hat then too).
Once we unpacked and settled in, we went to get croissants. When we finished our croissants we walked over to a tourism building to find things to do. Mom and Dad decided to take a walking tour but we cut it short (thanks to me πŸ˜‰). Then we chilled at our Airbnb until it was time for dinner. For dinner, we went to a nearby restaurant that turned out to be a Chinese restaurant... oops. Piper and I both got noodles with beef, Mom got soup and dumplings, Dad got beef and onions, and Kyla got duck. (By the way, the pictures are weird because I forgot to take any other pictures in France)

The 3 Days Of Torture

I'm not going to do much of an intro but here are the 3 awful days that we did (only awful to me for some reason):

1. The zoo. Ok, now I'm the only person I know who doesn't like zoos, but the day when I found myself in a car on my way to 4-5 HOURS at a zoo, I almost died (mentally not physically.) The first thing we did was walk over to a bird show where birds did a lot of tricks for 30 min straight (this was the only part of the zoo I didn't hate). After that, we spent 3-1/2 hours looking at animals while Piper took 187 photos on my phone (these are 0.03% of them). Finally, we went to the zoo restaurant and got the worst food in my life. Their pasta had no taste, their hamburgers were crap, and I don't even know what the soup tasted like because I lost my appetite.

2. The car ride. This one was going great until we got to our 2nd to last stop where we had to walk about a mile to a small waterfall to eat a bad lunch, and then back a mile but this time UP hill to our car. But at least we got ice cream after that.

3. The tour. This one wasn't that bad, but it was soooooo boring and I slept (or tried to sleep) for around half of it. But now it's all over and we had a day for a break.

An Update On What's Been Going On

Now I know I haven't posted in a very long time but this time I have a good excuse, nothing interesting happened, like nothing. But ill...
