An Update On What's Been Going On

Now I know I haven't posted in a very long time but this time I have a good excuse, nothing interesting happened, like nothing. But ill give you a quick summery on what weave done. About 2 weeks ago we started our Croatian cruse but on the first day when we where having a swim stop mom hurt her knee when she fell off a paddle board, this made it so she couldn't do much but blog about things we did a long time ago and answer E-mails. After that every day was basically the same wake up, eat breakfast hang out until the swim stop, swim, eat lunch, do math, arrive in the place we are docking, do screen time, go to a grocery store, explore town, do more screen time, go out to dinner, then go to sleep. Nothing exiting to blog about. But after a week of that we decided to do another cruse because moms knee still hurt. On that cruse we basically did the same thing but I did a lot less swimming and more town walks. And after 1 week of that we drove over to an AirBnB thing where we went to a water park (ill blog about that soon) and I did this blog post.

I finnaly updated my blog

Now I know I haven't posted on my blog in about 10 days, and I have no excuses except that I forgot. now we ae in (get help with this word) and the picture is me sliding down the railing of our hotel, for some reason. We started off our first day here with a tour of a cave, here's some pictures.

At the beginning of the tour we took a train ride into the cave then we got off and our tour guide led us around the cave fore awhile. After a long time of walking around we saw some cave lizards (there nick names was baby dragons". Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures so I cant show you😭😭😭. after we finished the tour we got gelato then when to take a "45ish min tour" (we where there fore more then a hour) Piper and I speed ran looking through the ENTIRE CASTLE lets just say, it was a workout. Once we finally got to go back, we tried to play a move but the internet was being to slow so we just went to dinner. For dinner we when to a PUB that the hotel recommended, I got lamb chops, Mom got (something idk), Dad got a burger, Kyla got steak, and piper got steak. once we finished we drove back to the hotel and I spend at least 30 min sliding down the railing, (its fun leave me alone) then finally got to tired so I went to bed.

A 3 Hour Tour In Rome

I'm so sorry for not posting for this long, weave been busy recently because we arrived in Rome, I'm posting now though, but fell free to yell at me. Mom, Dad, and Kyla started off the day by getting up at 8:00am to get coffee and hot chocolate at a fountain while Piper and I slept in. After we had breakfast and Mom, Dad, and Kyla came back we headed to the antient Roman arena for a 3 hour tour. The tour maid my already sore lag's more sore but we powered through it. The first stop we did was in the part where the gladiators would have fought. After the tour guild explained the basically everything you think about ancient Rome gladiators is a lie. First of all the gladiators didn't actually kill each other but instead did, well, something else I don't know. Secondly the king did not do the πŸ‘orπŸ‘Žto decide if the gladiator got to live or die Because, you know the first thing. third of all they didn't ever fill up the coliseum with water to do ship fights because of the 80 doors of the coliseum. Now that's enough facts, back to the tour. Once our tour guild was done telling us about gladiators we walked to the the upper part of the coliseum to get good pictures of the fighting area from above. after we did a full cercal we walked back down to a place i don't know what its called to talk about (I forgot) after awhile we were about to leave but first we tried to find the cat that lived there, we couldn't find it😞😞😞, but the tour guide showed us a picture on his phone 😊😊😊. After that we where done with the coliseum went on to a palace. We started off the palace by talking about an arch , then walking awhile to a fountain that if you blocked the water flow with your thumb it would spit water out of a different hole, for some reason. When we were done with that we went up to a courtyard thing that had ruins of a fountain in it, before going to a part were we got this picture.
After that experience we walked to a place the tour guide said was the best view in Rome, here are more pictures.

Finally after quite some time we ended the tour at a courtyard where we saw Julius censers tomb, tipped the tour guide, then left to eat lunch.

A Very Busy Day In Spain (And I Mean Busy)

Today was a very busy day for us, let me tell you about it. We started off the day with breakfast at 8:30am and then went into town once we were done. When we made it to town we walked over to a really big mountain to climb it. The climb was rough and tiring but I took pictures of the town at the beginning, middle, and end of the walk.

At the top, there was an ancient castle that we explored. While walking back down the mountain we befriend a boy named Lorenzo and his dad, William. After we got down we went and got gelato and then went to the beach with them and played for about 4 hours straight. After a long time in the sand, Mom, Dad, and Piper went to go to other stuff while Kyla, me, Lorenzo, and William went to do our own things. We started off by getting cappuccinos and croissants plus a sponge cake. Once we were finished with our food, we walked around town to find a sandwich place Lorenzo recommended. We got 1 big sandwich with the ham and cheese Lorenzo suggested. After we shared the sandwich, we walked around town for a while before heading to the beach and having a weird conversation about hand signs. Because we had to pack up still, Mom and Dad picked Kyla and me up to go back to the hotel. Once we were all packed up and ready to go tomorrow we headed back into town to go to a pizza place our new friends really recommended. We ordered our food and tried to teach each other different card games, but they were both too confusing. After a bit of sitting, we decided on a card game that was simple, very simple. When our food came we stopped our game to eat our pizza and talk. And finally, we left to go get more gelato for dessert. We all got cannoli, which is a gelato burrito-ish thing, and ate them while walking in the general directions of our car/hotel. Once we got to a place close to both our car and their hotel we said goodbye, gave each other our WhatsApp numbers, and went our separate ways. The day was exhausting but fun, and I'm glad we did it.

The Most Interesting Day In Italy

Sorry I haven't been posting for a while but now we are in Italy and I'm going to tell you about the most interesting day we had. The day started off slow and we kids chilled in the hotel until about 2:00pm. When we were all ready to go, we got into the car and drove about 3 min to town. When we got to town we walked about 11 min to a piazza for lunch. I got a cheese pizza, Piper got a hamburger, Kyla got pasta carbonara, Dad also got a hamburger, and Mom got a salmon salad. After we finished lunch we took a 2-hour tour of a duomo (cathedral). We started the tour by looking around the main room. We had also bought the most expensive tickets so we could look into the towers. After looking around the towers for a while we looked into the museum. here's a video . After we finished looking around the museum we walked to the beach where we ate gelato and played in the sand until dinner.

The Replica Of The Victoria

Today in Spain, we went to a replica of the Victoria (the first ship to ever circumnavigate the globe). We started the day off with a slow morning before we decided to walk around town for a bit. After about 12 min of walking, we reached a replica of the Victoria and spent 1-2 hours exploring it and learning about it. Apparently, when the ship left it had 47 members and when it came back it had only 18. All of the crew slept on the small deck while the captain had his own cabin. They mainly ate hardtack and salted meat. And apparently, their doctors were barely trained. Now that's enough of a history lesson today. Next, we had a talk about what to do after that, and we decided to have lunch. We went to a burger place that had really thick patties but tasted good. Once we were finished, Piper and I walked back while everyone else did more exploring.

Our Afternoon In Alcazar

[Mom's note: This is Alcazar in Seville, Spain. I want to tell you why it's special but Wes won't let me.  Read my blog in a few weeks. Wes is better about being up to date!]

Today we went to Alcazar for the afternoon. We started off by standing in a long line to get in. Once we got in, we split up into 2 teams: Kyla and Mom, plus Dad, Piper, And me. We started off by looking at a garden and starting an audio tour, well, everyone but Piper and I did. When we were all ready we walked into the main courtyard to decide what buildings to look in first. We started off with one which had 2 rooms that had some paintings and statues in them. After that, we looked at ancient plates, ya, PLATES. When we were done looking at more empty rooms, we looked at a lot of gardens/courtyards before finding a cafe to have a bite to eat. While we were eating we played 1 hand of cribbage (a card game) and I got this hand.

If you don't know that's a 21-point hand which is AMAZING. After we finished eating I used google maps to find my way back to the hotel while Mom and Piper went shopping and Kyla and Dad wandered around town.
