Today we went on a safari drive and saw a lot of animals but I forgot to take pictures of themðŸ˜ðŸ˜. This is the only male lion we saw but we saw two lionesses😊. While we were driving around we stopped at a monkey reserve and saw....... ONE CHIMPANZEE. Like why were there only one?!?!?!?!?!? After that we drove around in circles for like 2 hours looking for an elephant that we did not find. And finally we went back to our hotel and we all took a nap.

The Elephant Reserve
I'm telling you my blog posts are so random, because now I'm writing about the time we went to an elephant reserve that was before we went to the giraffe reserve. We were driving to our next hotel but our login time wasn't for a while so we stopped at an elephant reserve. After we walked down to a flat area with a fenced in place for elephants, we waited a while for the staff to bring in the elephants in. They began feeding them with milk, and after that they gave them some water to satisfy them. Then one of the staff brought out a microphone and began talking about why the elephants were there, what they did there, how they took care of them, and what caused the elephants to become orphans. After a long speech, we walked back up and "adopted an elephant" which basically mean that we pay them money to take care of the elephants.
The Giraffe Reserve
Now I know my blog posts are not exactly not in order but now I'm going to be telling you guys about the time we fed giraffes. After driving for a while, we stopped at a giraffe reserve for a break from the car. We each got a coconut shell with pellets in it to feed the giraffes with. And what was interesting is the way you feed them is by putting the pellets on their blue tongues. The baby giraffes (the last image) were difficult to feed because they had small tongues and were hard to reach, but we managed. We even got lucky enough to be able to feed a pregnant giraffe (the top image). After we ran out of pellets, we washed our hands and left the park to go to our first safari camp.

Burj Tower Light Show in Dubai
On our second day in Dubai we went on a 3 hour tour of the city. One of the first places we went was the Burj Tower (aka the largest building in the world) to see the light show that happens every 15 min from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. It was amazing to see it in person with all of the flashing lights. Unfortunately the one I posted isn't the one we saw because the video we took was too long and too big of a file 😥😥😥. After that experience we saw the fountain show. After we finished watching it we found some native sweets that we all tried. They were delicious. And after all of that we took a long car ride back the the hotel.
